Attended the
Splunk Architect bootcamp last week in
Morristown NJ. The Architect bootcamp prepares Splunk engineers for
the Splunk Architect Certification. The bootcamp consists of the
following five courses:
- Search and Reporting
- Administration
- Advanced Administration
- Deploying Splunk
- Developing
Having purchased and administered Splunk at two companies in
the past and now working for a Splunk partner, I thought I had a good
understanding of what Splunk could do. I now realize that’s it’s
more of a question of what can’t you do with Splunk. Dashboard,
charts, simple query language, 3rd party app integration (VMware,
Cisco, etc).
Looking forward to getting back to the office and getting
the Splunk App for VMware installed in our demo lab.
